Ray Francis,
Chief Operations Officer & Indigenous Relations
Ray is a First Nations Professional, including 18 years of oilfield experience ranging from field technician to senior operations manager. Ray’s passion is to continually work alongside First Nation Communities and our Indigenous citizens. Ray thrives on building strong, collaborative, trusting relationships for the betterment of everyone involved. Ray believes every job is deserving of Indigenous participation, First Nations personnel and our equipment must partake in every project. Ray is an owner in Duke Fire Services and the business continues to grow under his stewardship and with the help of our First Nation Partners.

Mike Gadde, MA (DEM)
Emergency Planning Director
With over 30 years of experience in Emergency Response, Management, and Planning Mike brings an expertise that is based in both his education and extensive experience. Mike has a Master’s Degree in Emergency Management, he is a Certified Fire Fighter and an Emergency Management Technician (NFPA 1001, 1002, and 472). Mike was the Provincial Chairperson for Oil Spill Cooperative as well as a trainer for FireSmart assessors. His most recent emergency response experience includes 2020 COVID planning, 2020 Fort McMurray Flood Evacuation and recovery and 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfire.
